June user of the month - Kim (see more pictures on our Facebook page)

The day before freespeech user Kim was set to jet off to Cannes and St. Tropez for the Cannes Film Festival, this Mauritian beauty took a minute to talk to freespeech. In addition to texting (only with freespeech), she enjoys surfing, long walks on the beach, cotton candy, public nudity and puppy dogs.

fs: How did you first hear about freespeech?

Kim: I heard about it from one of my friends. She knew some people who had helped with the beta testing and told me it was really great.

fs: What do you use freespeech for?

Kim: Well, I love to travel but I hate paying roaming fees.  Freespeech is great because it lets me stay in contact with my friends for free. Also, my boyfriend and I both travel a lot and not always to the same places. It lets me send him naughty/saucy pictures when we’re apart. It steams things up a little. I think freespeech makes texting a little more fun for me, and definitely more sexy.

fs: What’s your favorite part about freespeech?

Kim: Well besides being free? I think it has a sexy look to it and it’s really easy to use. It’s a simple app and a great concept.

fs: Thanks Kim!

Much of the focus in New York City startups is in the consumer space. There are also the inklings of enterprise and B2B technology companies starting to make waves here. This makes sense as NYC is the bastion of Wall Street, Madison Avenue and Fashion Week. A sizeable portion of Fortune 500…
